VALUE

It all starts with goals.

You can't have a successful road map until you know where you're going. Set measurable and clear goals for EACH platform (these will be different) – 6 months, 12 months, 3 years and 5 years. – What business goals do you have and how will social media help you reach those goals? – This is not just followers (but that counts too). – Are you tracking website traffic? Make sure you have Google Analytics set up. – Don't forget big picture goals that relate to your overall vision and mission as a business. – Give each of your goals a clear timeframe, but be flexible!

Determine Your Audience.

Finding your audience and drawing them in with your content is the key to success! To do this, you have to understand their lifestyle, concerns, problems, and needs. GUESS WHAT? Your audience IS NOT solely made up of buyers. And that's good! – Audience: Interested in you and your topic. – Followers: Love your business and help boost your engagement. – Buyers: Buy your product or service. – The BEST people ever (Advocates): Recommend your business. What do these people need from you? What problem do they have that YOU fix with your product  or service? Age, income,  area, hobbies, buying  behaviors, etc. The more detailed, the better!

Build Your Brand.

This is a beast in itself, so we'll keep this one quick. We're firm believers that a successful marketing campaign needs a strong foundation - your brand. Vision, core values, messaging and visuals. Your social strategy should be SO clear to your buyers. There should be a consistent and cohesive look and feel no matter where you are.

Plan Your Content.

Find Relevant Topics ("Content Pillars") What topic is your audience interested in? How will they find value in those topics? These topics are how you'll know what to post and how to serve your audience. We don't believe you need a minimum or maximum number of topics, but you need enough value within each topic to consistently provide value. Once you have these topics, break them into different categories. For example: Topic: Instagram Tips & Tricks Categories: Content planning, measuring analytics,  hashtags, story tips,  engagement strategies,  selling in DM's etc.

Measure Your Success.

Analyzing how your social media is performing is the best way to understand if your hardwork is paying off, or if you need to reevaluate. Your audience will give you clear signals about what attracts their interest the most, making it easier for you to come up with new content that converts! Here are a few metrics to consider:- – Likes, Comments, Saves, Shares. – Story replies. – DM Inquiries. – Reach & Impressions. – Click Through rate. – Link Clicks. – Mentions. – Unique visitors to websites. – Lead Captures. – Conversions.
